For the most part the spanish community has been relegated to be testers and users/consumers of the OpenOffice.org product. However now we really need to step forward and start developing stuff. I have learned a lot from Laurent Gogard and what he did in the french community.
For the most part the spanish community even though is a very rich users of OpenOffice.org the development has been somehow slow and getting a school of future developers might help spurse no just the adoption but also the innovation of the office suite.
As one of my past documents about the future of the office suite and how simplicity works better for large adotopion, this time we would be able to reformulate the source so we can push a better and more usable OpenOffice.org for all of us.
