It’s an OOo World

Today was a great day, probably the best OOo Day I have ever had. So my friend Ian Lynch, came yesterday to Bucharest to ceritfy me and some other people as an INGOT trainner.

Another great today was the very appealing presentation on migrating organizations to OpenOffice.org. With a great input and ideas comming right after my presentation.

Even some members actually invite me to their country to support some migrations in their countries.

At the end we debate some important issues about the OpenOffice.org currest state, things like the bad navegability of the site. Supporting alternative websites, creating powerful development and enhance communication technology between projects. With Ian, I also came to debate a lot about the structure of power and the way the project has mainly being handled by the leads. Hopefully the community will take notice and expand beyond and get more independence this will provide a better product and a modularized approach of the community.
